Here is a classic Mercury Retrograde scenario...

I buy a pack of bright-colored high lighter pens. I have the pack on my desk. Two days go by. I purchase a small gift at a store that has nothing to do with stationary. They give me a deluxe yellow hi-liter as a free gift for making a $10 purchase at their store.

Like: Rendering purchases useless when they are not replacements.

Jupiter is now in Sagittarius, the twelve year cycle from rulership to rulership. Also, the Jupiter square to Saturn kicks up the June 2000 conjunction of those two - what were YOU doing back then and how does that affect things now?
I have seen a few people I was hanging out with in 2000 recently.
Fuck, I never update here anymore, but I gotta put this somewhere...
I'm reading a fabulous essay by Robert Hand on astro.com, I mean, this thing so succinctly summarizes astrological knowledge and processes, is lucid, comprehensible and states an absolute that describes where we have been and where we are as astrologers.
And then he killed me by suggesting where we must go.
He said astrology must go to academia.
I almost vomited, I almost cried, I got angry and started to take a walk when the phone rang, it was a bill collector and I screamed at him that I would come to his home town and kill him in front of his family, and threw the phone to the ground - I have a concrete floor - and now I have a busted cordless phone.
That angry.
I loathe the academy. On my frickin' own again, just when I was about to submit to the will of a perfect philosophy. Damn.
