Here is a classic Mercury Retrograde scenario...
I buy a pack of bright-colored high lighter pens. I have the pack on my desk. Two days go by. I purchase a small gift at a store that has nothing to do with stationary. They give me a deluxe yellow hi-liter as a free gift for making a $10 purchase at their store.
Like: Rendering purchases useless when they are not replacements.

|Jupiter in Sagittarius
Jupiter is now in Sagittarius, the twelve year cycle from rulership to rulership. Also, the Jupiter square to Saturn kicks up the June 2000 conjunction of those two - what were YOU
doing back then and how does that affect things now?
I have seen a few people I was hanging out with in 2000 recently. Kinda cool, actually.

Fuck, I never update here anymore, but I gotta put this somewhere...
I'm reading a fabulous essay by Robert Hand on astro.com, I mean, this thing so succinctly summarizes astrological knowledge and processes, is lucid, comprehensible and states an absolute that describes where we have been and where we are as astrologers.
And then he killed me by suggesting where we must go.
He said astrology must go to academia.
I almost vomited, I almost cried, I got angry and started to take a walk when the phone rang, it was a bill collector and I screamed at him that I would come to his home town and kill him in front of his family, and threw the phone to the ground - I have a concrete floor - and now I have a busted cordless phone.
I loathe the academy. On my frickin' own again, just when I was about to submit to the will of a perfect philosophy. Damn.

Jupiter is now in Scorpio.
What does this men for everyone?
I already made one incorrect prediction during the World Series game tonight, so I will hold off.

So, it looks like it is time to take on an intermediate student.
If you live in L.A. and want to know more about astrology beyond the basics - especially if you ant to become a professional astrologer - I've developed a structured teaching method, let me know.

|Art and Stars
I wrote another column for Cirrus Gallery's website... Art World Astrology Forecast
. I think the next New Moon is going to be quite powerful, things begun NEXT
Monday and Tuesday could be epicenter-like beginnings.
After the previous cycles of eclipses turned shit all upside down, look for the new soliditiy and direction to start cresting.

Moon in Sagittarius trined Mecury in Aries this afternoon - I had set up a business phone meeting - then they cancelled.FUCK!
. Oh yeah, and it grand-trined my Leo Mars in my 10th house, double fuck.
|Thursday, April 14th, 2005|
Mars conjuncted Neptune today - made me kind of aggravated...
thinking of all the things that I SHOULD
An attack of the shoulds (illusions, aka Neptune)
and very aggravating, tense, grinding (Mars)
Who said conjunctions were fun?
What a mess.

For ten seconds there, i thought there was a useful feature on astrology dot com. Than I realized, oh, Astrodienst does this better, faster, in a less patronizing manner and I don't have to watch a goddman commercial before navigating to it.
